US social acceptance of fur is up 7 points since May 2008

According to Gallup’s annual “moral acceptability” poll, published recently, an increasing number of Americans are saying that it is OK to buy and wear clothes made of fur.

Of the 15 social issues that Gallup rated, the wearing of fur recorded the largest increase in moral acceptability – from 54% in 2008 to 61% in 2009.
